With our exclusive FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash, we at FLAWLESS Industries offer you software optimization of your ECU or control unit for your KTM 690 SMC-R (2014-2016) with features that will put you in the fast lane. And all without additional hardware – just by flashing your ECU.

– Performance increase: We write the tuning software individually for your KTM 690 SMC-R and adapt it precisely to your installed hardware. As a result, we achieve an increase in performance of approx. 4 to 7 hp and 8 to 11 Nm of torque. In addition to the extra power, our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash also improves the rideability: the power delivery is significantly more homogeneous and even, the annoying constant throttle jerk has disappeared after the ECU optimization, and the well-known torque bend at approx. 4,500 rpm is eliminated. We also adjust the injection maps so that the air-fuel ratio values are in the optimum range – this relieves the exhaust valves and cylinder head thanks to lower exhaust gas temperatures.

– FLAWLESS Gear Switch: Our FLAWLESS Gear Switch gives your 690 SMC-R an additional riding mode – the Safemap.
This offers you a “locked” mode that is automatically activated during normal start-up. In this mode, your 690 SMC-R rides in Map 1 with the original mapping (A2 or A), regardless of which map you have selected via the map switch under your seat. However, as soon as you start the ignition with second gear engaged, the engine control light in your speedometer flashes. This indicates that the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is now active in your individual configuration. The map switch is now enabled again so that you can switch between the maps. After starting, the engine control light goes out and you can use the full power of the ECU Performance Flash and now have all riding modes of the map switch of your 701 Supermoto available. Thanks to our custom code in your control unit, you don’t need an additional sensor. Our FLAWLESS Quickshifter GP works with the existing gear position sensor and continuously learns the changes so that no manual reading and adjustment of the reference values is necessary.
Thanks to the closed-loop system of our code, the ignition is only reactivated when the gear change is complete. The special feature here is that the interruption times adapt to the respective shifting process. This effectively avoids the risk of premature ignition release, which can occur with systems with fixed interruption times, and ensures optimum performance with every gear change.
– FLAWLESS Supermoto ABS: Maximum Supermoto riding fun with your 690 SMC-R! With Supermoto ABS activated, the ABS remains active on the front wheel, but is deactivated on the rear wheel – ideal for Supermoto drifts and wheelies. An additional Supermoto dongle is not required.

– Throttle response: The current throttle response is not good enough for you? On request, we can program your throttle response curve 1 to 1 with the throttle valve response curve – 50% throttle means 50% throttle valve position. For the ultimate throttle response of your KTM 690-SMC-R!

– Pops & Bangs: Give your KTM 690 SMC-R the finishing acoustic touches. Thanks to our optimization, we can configure the thrust cut-off individually according to your wishes and the installed setup of your KTM 690 SMC-R and, if desired, also set it to the respective riding modes. Important – in a configuration with catalytic converter, only a thrust cut-off is possible.

– FLAWLESS CAN mapswitch retrofit: Retrofit the mapswitch on the handlebars – plug & play and programmed directly in the ECU. You can adjust the optimization or mapping directly when ordering according to your wishes. The selection fields are available for this purpose.
When ordering, please indicate which setup you are using in the comments field at the checkout. It is important which rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, …), which air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, …) and air filter cover (open air filter / Powerparts cover, perforated cover, …) and whether you have installed a catalytic converter.

Procedure:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU software optimization for your KTM 690 SMC-R with the desired options.
2. Send your control unit or ECU well packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries – Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany).
3. We will process the software of your ECU on the day it arrives and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect and drive off.

In order to be able to offer you this service, it is necessary for you to send us your removed control unit from your vehicle. As soon as we have received it, we will customize your FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash. We usually send your ECU back to you with the modified software within 24 hours so that you can reinstall it as quickly as possible.
To achieve the specified performance, it is necessary to use an accessory rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, etc.), a sports air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, etc.) and the Powerparts air filter cover or perforated cover. The control unit will not be damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside. KTM testers function without restriction. The software number remains unchanged.
