– Performance increase: We write the tuning software or optimization individually for your KTM 690 SMC-R and adapt it to your installed hardware. As a result, we achieve an increase in performance of approx. 5 to 8 hp and 10 to 12 NM torque. In addition to the extra power, our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash improves the rideability: the power delivery of your 690 SMC-R becomes significantly more homogeneous and consistent. The annoying constant throttle judder of your KTM has also completely disappeared after the ECU optimization, giving you a significant increase in rideability. In addition, the well-known torque bend of your KTM at approx. 4500 rpm disappears thanks to our performance increase. We also adjust the injection maps so that the air-fuel ratio values of your 690 SMC-R are now in the optimum range. This also reduces the thermal load on the exhaust valves and cylinder heads due to the resulting lower exhaust gas temperatures.

– FLAWLESS Gear Switch: Our FLAWLESS Gear Switch gives your 690 SMC-R an additional riding mode – the Safemap. This offers you a third mode that is automatically activated during normal start-up. In this mode, your SMC-R rides with the original mapping (A2 or A), regardless of which map you have selected via the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch. However, as soon as you start the ignition with second gear engaged, the engine control light in your speedometer flashes. This indicates that the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is now active in your individual configuration. After starting, the engine control light goes out and you can use the full power of the ECU Performance Flash and now have both riding modes of the map switch of your 690 SMC-R available.

– FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch: Full attack at the touch of a button? With this option you can switch between 2 mappings on the handlebars of your KTM 690 SMC-R, so that you have the standard mapping on Map 1 and FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with all the desired functions available on Map 2!

– FLAWLESS Quickshifter: Discover our newly developed FLAWLESS Quickshift algorithm, which gives your 690 SMC-R unparalleled shifting speed and sportiness! We have not only refined the interruption times, but also optimized the entire quickshifter algorithm to give you the ultimate quickshifter experience. For an even more intense driving experience, we offer optional shift acoustics that give every gear change an impressive soundscape – perfect for anyone looking for maximum sportiness! Important – gearshift acoustics are not possible in a configuration with a catalytic converter.

– Hardcut Limiter and Launch Control: With the Hardcut Limiter, the standard rev limiter on your SMC-R becomes a genuine racing limiter that ensures an unmistakable riding experience. Launch Control gives you a perfect race start – accompanied by an impressive soundscape. In riding mode 2, the engine speed is limited to 6500 rpm when 1st gear is engaged. As soon as your 690 SMC-R starts moving, the engine speed increases automatically in line with the front wheel speed. Flames from the exhaust are guaranteed with both the Hardcut Limiter and Launch Control!

Important: The Hardcut Limiter and Launch Control may only be used in conjunction with an exhaust system without catalytic converter and without DB-Killer. Please note that increased engine wear cannot be ruled out if used excessively.

– Linear throttle: The previous throttle response is not good enough for you? On request, we can program your throttle characteristic 1 to 1 with the throttle position – 50% throttle means 50% throttle position. For the ultimate responsiveness of your KTM 690 SMC-R!

– Pops and bangs: Give your KTM 690 SMC-R the final acoustic touches. Thanks to our optimization, we can configure the throttle cut-off individually according to your wishes and the installed setup of your KTM 690 SMC-R and, if desired, also set it to the respective riding modes. Important – in a configuration with catalytic converter, only a thrust cut-off is possible.

You can adjust the optimization or mapping directly when ordering according to your wishes. The selection fields are available for this purpose.
When ordering, please indicate which setup you are using in the comments field at the checkout. It is important which rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, …), which air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, …) and air filter cover (open air filter / Powerparts cover, perforated cover, …) and whether you have installed a catalytic converter.

Procedure:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU software optimization for your KTM 690 SMC-R with the desired options.
2. Send your control unit or ECU well packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries – Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany).
3. We will process the software of your ECU on the day it arrives and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect and drive off.

In order to be able to offer you this service, it is necessary for you to send us your removed control unit from your vehicle. As soon as we have received it, we will customize your FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash. We usually send your ECU back to you with the modified software within 24 hours so that you can reinstall it as quickly as possible.
To achieve the specified performance, it is necessary to use an accessory rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, etc.), a sports air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, etc.) and the Powerparts air filter cover or perforated cover. The upgrade air filter we offer is a K&N sports air filter. The ECU will not be damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside. KTM testers function without restriction. The software number remains unchanged.
