This also reduces the thermal load on the exhaust valves and cylinder heads due to the resulting lower exhaust gas temperatures. The torque limitation in certain gears is removed. This means that maximum torque is always available.

With this option, you can switch between 2 mappings on the handlebars of your Yamaha YZF-R9, so that you have the throttled A2 power active in PWR Mode 1 and the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with the unthrottled power level in PWR Mode 2!

– Fan temperature: You’re not the only one who wants to keep a cool head? By adjusting the fan temperature, your YZF-R9 will always remain within the optimum temperature window, even with a very sporty riding style, as we lower both the switch-on and switch-off temperature of the fans by approx. 4 degrees.

– Thrust cut-off: Give your Yamaha YZF-R9 the final acoustic touch. With our optimization we can deactivate the thrust cut-off and thus activate Pops&Bangs on your YZF-R9. Important – in a configuration with catalytic converter, only thrust bubbling is possible.

– Immobilizer: Do you ride your YZF-R9 on the racetrack? Then we can deactivate the immobilizer so that you can start your bike without an ignition lock.

– Nice to know: We program your ECU so that the lambda control is active in neutral gear and the standard mapping is active. As soon as you engage 1st gear, our Performance Flash is active.

Procedure:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU software optimization for your Yamaha YZF-R9 from 2025 with the desired options.
2. Send your control unit or ECU well packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries – Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany)
3. We will process the software for your ECU on the day it arrives and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect and drive off.

To achieve the specified performance, it is necessary to use an accessory rear silencer (Yoshimura, Shark, Akrapovic, Boss, Copra, etc.) and a sports air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, etc.). The control unit will not be damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside.
