How to send us your control unit correctly

You have ordered a FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash and would like to send us your ECU for optimization? Here, we will show you step-by-step what you should keep in mind when shipping.

With the right packaging and clear identification of your order, you ensure that your ECU arrives safely and that we at FLAWLESS Industries can process it as quickly as possible.

1. Removing the ECU

First, remove your motorcycle's engine control unit.

Depending on the model, the ECU can be found, for example, under the seat, behind a side panel, or in the area of the tank.

Important: Never pull on connectors or cables with force. Most ECU connectors have a locking mechanism that must be opened first.

If you are unsure about the removal, we recommend having the control unit removed by a specialist workshop – or write to our FLAWLESS Support – we are happy to help!

2. Packaging the ECU securely

Your control unit contains sensitive electronics and should therefore be shipped with appropriate protection.

Best practice:

• Wrap the ECU in bubble wrap or similar cushioning material
• Use a sturdy shipping box
• Fill any gaps in the box with packaging material
• Ensure that the control unit cannot move freely inside the package

Please try not to stick shipping labels or adhesive tape directly onto the control unit.

3. Including your order number

To ensure we can directly match your control unit to the correct order, please include a small note with your order number in the package.

Example:

Order number: FL-1234

Alternatively, you can print out and include your order confirmation.

This allows us to match your control unit quickly and clearly upon arrival.

4. Sending only the required parts

For an ECU Performance Flash, we normally only require the engine control unit.

Please do not send any additional components such as:

• Keys
• Ignition lock
• Wiring harness
• Sensors
• Original packaging
• Vehicle documents

unless this has been expressly agreed upon with us beforehand.

5. Shipping the package with tracking

We generally recommend insured shipping with tracking.

This allows you to check where your package is at any time and when it has been delivered to us.

6. What happens after arrival?

As soon as your control unit has reached us, it will be matched to your order and prepared for processing.

We will then carry out the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash you ordered with the selected options and features.

After successful processing, your control unit will be securely packed and sent back to you.

Before shipping, check again:

• Is the control unit sufficiently cushioned?
• Is your order number in the package?
• Have you only packed the required components?
