Thanks to our custom code in your ECU, you do not need an additional sensor. Our FLAWLESS Quickshifter GP works with the existing gear position sensor and uses the reference values of the sensor already learned in the ECU, so that no manual readout and adjustment of the reference values is necessary. Depending on the mileage of the motorcycle, it may be necessary to relearn the gear position sensor. This can be done by any dealer with the KTM tester or by us on site. 

Thanks to the closed-loop system of our code, ignition is only reactivated once the gear change is fully completed. What's special about this: The interruption times adapt adaptively to the respective shifting process. This effectively avoids the risk of premature ignition release, which can occur with systems with fixed interruption times, and ensures optimal performance with every shift.

For maximum flexibility in everyday riding, the FLAWLESS Quickshifter also offers an easy deactivation function: simply start the 690 DUKE in sixth gear and the system switches off for the duration of the ride.

For an even more intense riding experience, we optionally offer shifting acoustics that give every gear change an impressive soundscape - perfect for anyone looking for maximum sportiness! Important - with a configuration including a catalytic converter, shifting acoustics are not possible.

It is important to specify which rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, ...) and which air filter (K&N sports air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, ...) you are using, as well as whether you have a catalytic converter installed.

Procedure:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU software optimization for your KTM 690 DUKE with the desired options.
2. Send your ECU well packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries - Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany).
3. We process the software of your ECU on the day of arrival and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect and drive off.

The ECU is not damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside. KTM testers work without restrictions. The software number remains unchanged.
