FLAWLESS Mapswitch Retrofit for KTM EXC / Husqvarna FE

Installing your FLAWLESS Mapswitch Retrofit is very simple.

  1. Mount the map switch on the handlebars of your KTM EXC or Husqvarna FE
  2. Connect the 6-pin plug to the diagnostic port under the seat

 

Instructions for FLAWLESS Powergate 3+ Customer Flasher (pre-configured)

We have already pre-configured your Powergate customer flasher. Therefore, you can write directly to your ECU.

Flashing the FLAWLESS Performance Flash to your motorcycle: 

  1. Connect the customer flasher to the diagnostic port of your motorcycle with the provided cable.
  2. Connect a suitable battery charger to your motorcycle.
  3. Turn on your motorcycle's ignition.
  4. Press the "Tuning" menu item.
  5. Now select the desired slot.
  6. Wait until the ECU is flashed. Instructions will appear on the display. Follow them carefully.
    IMPORTANT: The battery voltage must be at least 12.1 volts continuously during writing. Therefore, be sure to connect a suitable battery charger.

 

Instructions for FLAWLESS Powergate 3+ Customer Flasher (not pre-configured)

Reading the Original Flash on the Bike: 

  1. Connect the customer flasher to the diagnostic port of your motorcycle with the provided cable.
  2. Connect a suitable battery charger to your motorcycle.
  3. Turn on your motorcycle's ignition.
  4. Press the "Tuning" menu item.
  5. The customer flasher will now inform you that the data has not yet been read. Confirm the message.
  6. The customer flasher will now read your data. This can take up to 20 minutes.

Transferring Data (USR File) from the Customer Flasher to the PC:

  1. Connect the customer flasher to your PC.
  2. Install our FLAWLESS Flasher software. You can find the download link here. Open it after installation.
  3. Select the "Download" menu item in the software.
  4. Save the data record. 
  5. Please send us the saved data record via email to pgfiles.shop@flawless-industries.de, stating the order number and slot configurations.

Transferring the FLAWLESS Performance Flash Data (USR File) to the Customer Flasher: 

After we have sent you the modified data, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the customer flasher to your PC.
  2. Open the FLAWLESS Flasher software.
  3. Select the "Upload" menu item in the software.
  4. Now select the Performance Flash data record that you received from us.
  5. Wait until the upload is complete.

  1. Connect the customer flasher to the diagnostic port of your motorcycle with the provided cable.
  2. Connect a suitable battery charger to your motorcycle.
  3. Turn on your motorcycle's ignition.
  4. Press the "Tuning" menu item.
  5. Now select the desired slot.
  6. Wait until the ECU is flashed. Instructions will appear on the display. Follow them carefully.
