Quickshifter sensors
Quickshifter sensors for motorcycles – as a spare part or as a component for retrofitting. The sensor is positioned on the shift rod and signals the gear change to the control unit so that the ignition is briefly interrupted at the precise moment.
How does a quickshifter work?
When upshifting, the sensor detects the pressure on the shift rod and sends a signal to the control unit. The unit interrupts the ignition for a few milliseconds, allowing the gear to be changed without using the clutch or rolling off the throttle. This eliminates the loss of tractive force during shifting.
Do I need anything else in addition to the sensor?
The sensor alone is only sufficient if your vehicle is already pre-equipped for a quickshifter. For a complete retrofit including software, you need our quickshifter retrofit kit. We offer complete retrofit kits for selected models from KTM, Husqvarna, and Suzuki.
