Aprilia RS 660 from 2025 - FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash
Aprilia RS 660 EURO 5+ tuning from 2025 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original Aprilia RS 660 ECU for model year 2025 onwards. Injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle response curves are adjusted, resulting in approximately 3 to 8 hp more power, 3 to 5 Nm more torque, and a noticeably smoother power delivery, without needing any additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and Aprilia diagnostic testers can continue to be used without restriction.
We calibrate each software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Upon request, it can be combined with the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, a pit limiter, Warmup Mode, and an individually configured fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

We always build on the full 105 hp data status
The Aprilia RS 660 from model year 2025 onwards is available in the full version with 77.2 kW or 105 hp and as an A2 version, which is factory-restricted to 35 kW.
Our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is based on the full 105 hp data status in both cases. An A2-restricted RS 660 does not simply get a little more power from us; it first receives the complete unrestricted data status, with our performance gains added on top.
For you, this means: if you are coming from the A2 version, the difference between your current state and the completed optimization is significantly greater than the pure performance gain figure suggests.
Performance increase for the Aprilia RS 660 from 2025
We write the tuning software individually for your Aprilia RS 660 and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Starting from the full 105 hp data status, we achieve a power increase of approx. +3 to +8 hp and around +3 to +5 Nm of torque, depending on the setup.
Beyond the raw power increase, we primarily improve the power delivery. The RS 660 accelerates more smoothly and consistently and reacts more directly to throttle inputs overall.
The typical constant throttle jerkiness of the RS 660 is also significantly reduced or eliminated by the optimized maps.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the Aprilia RS 660
As part of the Aprilia RS 660 ECU tuning, we also adapt the injection maps. This ensures that the Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) values of your RS 660 are in an optimized range for your specific setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. The adjusted mixture preparation results in lower exhaust gas temperatures, which relieves thermal stress on the exhaust valves and cylinder heads in particular.
FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch for the Aprilia RS 660
With the optional FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, you can switch between the stock map and the optimization on your Aprilia RS 660's handlebar.
We place the complete FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with all desired functions on AEM 1, selectable via the Individual or Race ride mode. The stock mapping (A- or A2-mapping) remains on AEM 2 and AEM 3.
This gives you access to both characteristics directly via the stock ride modes of your RS 660 – without having to stop or make modifications.
Note: The 35 kW symbol on your RS 660 dashboard remains visible with the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch.
Deactivation of catalytic converter monitoring
With our Performance Flash, we deactivate the catalytic converter monitoring.
This is strictly necessary if you are installing an exhaust system without a catalytic converter on your Aprilia RS 660. Otherwise, the stock electronics will detect the missing cat and display an error message.
Pit limiter for the Aprilia RS 660
For use on the racetrack, we can program a pit limiter for you upon request. It is activated in Race mode, and you can define the speed individually.
It can be easily turned on and off via the cruise control lever. This allows you to reliably maintain the prescribed speed in the pit lane without having to take your eyes off the action.
Warmup Mode for the Aprilia RS 660
The Warmup Mode automatically raises the idle speed to approx. 3,000 rpm after a cold start.
This allows the engine to reach operating temperature faster and more evenly – practical before starting on the racetrack. As soon as the coolant temperature reaches 50 °C, the rpm automatically drops back to the normal idle speed.
Pops & Bangs and overrun burbles on the Aprilia RS 660
We adjust the fuel cut-off of your Aprilia RS 660 individually to your wishes and the installed setup – from subtle overrun burbles to clearly audible pops and bangs. Upon request, we can program the pops and bangs exclusively for the AEM 1 mode.
The intensity of the acoustics depends, among other things, on whether a catalytic converter is installed on your RS 660. Please indicate this when ordering so that we can adjust the configuration accordingly.
Individual calibration for your setup
Every software optimization for the Aprilia RS 660 is calibrated to the setup installed on your motorcycle. Please provide the following information in the comments field when ordering:
- Installed silencer or exhaust system, e.g., SC-Project, MIVV, Akrapovic, or Arrow
- Installed air filter, e.g., K&N, BMC, or MWR
- Catalytic converter present: yes or no
- Other relevant modifications
This allows us to optimally tune the mapping of your Aprilia RS 660 to your motorcycle.
Suitable performance parts for your Aprilia RS 660
Exhaust systems and air filters, in particular, influence the optimal map calibration. You can find suitable parts in our following categories:
Systems from SC-Project or Arrow and air filters from BMC are also suitable. We are happy to clarify which combination is best for your setup before you place your order.
What hardware is required for maximum power?
To achieve the stated maximum performance increase, we recommend or require, depending on the desired calibration:
- Aftermarket silencer or sport exhaust, e.g., from SC-Project, MIVV, Akrapovic, or Arrow
- Sport air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or MWR
The software optimization itself works with stock hardware as well – but for maximum power output, we calibrate the mapping to the installed components.

Why FLAWLESS Industries?
We have been developing our software optimizations in-house for over 5 years and write every map individually – we do not use purchased pre-made files.
The basis for this is created on our own high-performance simulation test bench. Every setup variant – from the stock configuration to combinations of various sport exhaust systems, sport air filters, and configurations with and without a catalytic converter – is installed and specifically calibrated there during development. Our maps are therefore based on real measured values and not on empirical values or copied files.
We process well over 1,000 control units every year. Development and programming take place entirely in Germany. If you have questions about your setup, you can reach us directly – we will advise you before you order on which configuration suits your motorcycle and intended use.

Frequently asked questions about Aprilia RS 660 optimization
What data status is the Performance Flash based on?
Always on the full 105 hp data status. Our performance gains are added on top of this complete data status.
Does the Performance Flash also work with the A2 version with 35 kW?
Yes. For the A2 version, which is factory-restricted to 35 kW, we use the full 105 hp data status as the baseline and add our performance gains to it. The difference from the delivery state is therefore significantly noticeable.
How much power does tuning the Aprilia RS 660 provide?
Starting from the full 105 hp data status, we achieve approx. +3 to +8 hp and +3 to +5 Nm more torque, depending on the installed hardware. At least as noticeable is the smoother power delivery and the eliminated constant throttle jerkiness.
Which ride mode is the optimization on?
With the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, we place the complete Performance Flash on AEM 1, selectable via the Individual or Race ride mode. The stock mapping remains on AEM 2 and AEM 3.
Does the 35 kW symbol on the dashboard remain?
Yes. With the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, the 35 kW symbol on your RS 660 dashboard remains.
Why is the catalytic converter monitoring deactivated?
Because the stock electronics would otherwise display an error message as soon as you install an exhaust system without a catalytic converter. With monitoring deactivated, your dashboard remains error-free.
What does the pit limiter do?
The pit limiter limits the speed to a value you set. It is activated in Race mode via the cruise control lever – intended for the pit lane on the racetrack.
What is the Warmup Mode for?
After a cold start, the Warmup Mode automatically raises the idle speed to approx. 3,000 rpm so that the engine reaches operating temperature more quickly and evenly. At 50 °C coolant temperature, it drops back to the normal level.
Is the software calibrated to my exhaust system?
Yes. We take into account the installed silencer, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications during calibration. Please provide these details in the comment field of your order.
Does the optimization also work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The power increase and the optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. Regarding the fuel cut-off, the acoustics are more subtle with a catalytic converter.
Do I need a sport exhaust or sport air filter for the optimization?
No. The software optimization also works with stock hardware. However, for maximum power gain, we recommend an aftermarket silencer and a sport air filter – we will then specifically calibrate the mapping for these.
Can I continue to use an Aprilia diagnostic tester?
Yes. Aprilia diagnostic testers continue to work without restriction, as the software number of the ECU remains unchanged.
Does the control unit have to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not recognizable from the outside.
How long does processing take?
After receiving your ECU, processing typically occurs within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
Is the optimization suitable for EURO 5+ models from 2025?
Yes. This software optimization is specifically intended for the Aprilia RS 660 from model year 2025 with EURO 5+.
Am I allowed to drive with the optimized software in road traffic?
The software deviates from the stock state. Use is permitted exclusively on closed-off grounds or racetracks.
