BMW S1000RR K67 2023 to 2024 - FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash
BMW S1000RR K67 EURO 5 Tuning 2023 to 2024 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original ECU of the BMW S1000RR K67 for model years 2023 to 2024. Injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle curves are adjusted – resulting in approximately 8 hp more power, 7 Nm more torque, and a noticeably more homogeneous power delivery, without any additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and BMW Motorrad diagnostic testers can still be used without restriction.
We tune each software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Optionally, it can be combined with a gear-dependent, permanently open exhaust flap, Linear Throttle, a lowered fan temperature, and an individually configured fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

Performance increase for the BMW S1000RR K67
We write the tuning software individually for your BMW S1000RR K67 and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Depending on the setup, we achieve an increase in power of approx. +8 hp and around +7 Nm of torque.
Beyond pure power, we primarily improve power delivery. The S1000RR accelerates more homogeneously and smoothly, and responds more directly to throttle inputs overall.
The typical constant throttle jerking of the S1000RR is also significantly reduced or eliminated by the optimized maps.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the BMW S1000RR K67
As part of the BMW S1000RR ECU tuning, we also adjust the injection maps. This puts the Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) values of your S1000RR K67 in an optimal range for your specific setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. The adjusted mixture preparation results in lower exhaust gas temperatures, which can specifically relieve the thermal load on exhaust valves and cylinder heads.
Exhaust flap control for the BMW S1000RR K67
Want to hear more from your BMW S1000RR K67? Upon request, we can keep the exhaust flap permanently open.
We program the flap control based on the gear: as soon as your S1000RR is in gear, the exhaust flap remains permanently open. This way, you don't just feel the extra power, you hear it too.
Linear Throttle for the BMW S1000RR K67
Do you want a more direct and controllable throttle response? Upon request, we program a linear throttle grip curve. For example, 50% throttle grip position corresponds exactly to 50% throttle valve position.
This gives you a significantly more direct and predictable response from your BMW S1000RR K67.
Optimizing the fan temperature for the BMW S1000RR K67
Upon request, we can lower both the switch-on and switch-off temperatures of the fans by approximately 4 °C each.
This allows active cooling to start earlier and run longer. Your S1000RR will remain more reliably in the optimal temperature window, even with very spirited riding, high ambient temperatures, or in city traffic.
Pops & bangs and overrun burble on the BMW S1000RR K67
We adapt the fuel cut-off of your BMW S1000RR K67 individually to your wishes and the installed setup – from subtle overrun burble to clearly audible pops and bangs.
Important: With a setup including a catalytic converter, only an overrun burble is possible. Please specify when ordering if your S1000RR has a cat installed, and we will adjust the configuration accordingly.
Individual tuning for your setup
Every software optimization for the BMW S1000RR K67 is tuned to the installed setup of your motorcycle. Please provide the following information in the comment field when placing your order:
- Installed rear silencer or exhaust system, e.g., Akrapovic, SC-Project, or Austin Racing
- Installed air filter, e.g., K&N, BMC, or DNA
- Catalytic converter present: yes or no
- Other relevant modifications
This allows us to optimally tailor the mapping of your BMW S1000RR K67 to your motorcycle.
Suitable performance parts for your BMW S1000RR K67
Exhaust systems and air filters, in particular, have an influence on optimal map tuning. You can find suitable parts in the following categories:
- Exhaust systems from Akrapovic, LeoVince, and MIVV
- Sport air filters from K&N and MWR; BMC or DNA are also suitable
Systems from SC-Project or Austin Racing are also suitable. We are happy to clarify which combination works best for your setup before you order.
What hardware is required for maximum performance?
To achieve the stated performance increase on the S1000RR K67, the following are mandatory:
- An aftermarket rear silencer or sport exhaust, e.g., from Akrapovic, SC-Project, or Austin Racing
- A sport air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or DNA
Without these components, the stated performance gains cannot be fully achieved. The other optimization functions – drivability, AFR values, exhaust flap, Linear Throttle, fan temperature, and fuel cut-off – are available regardless of these components.
How the software optimization for your BMW S1000RR K67 works

No additional hardware necessary
For software optimization, no additional control unit is installed on the motorcycle. We program your original ECU. The control unit is not opened or damaged in the process and remains externally unchanged.
Your ECU software number remains unchanged, and BMW Motorrad diagnostic testers can continue to be used without restriction.
Why FLAWLESS Industries?
We have been developing our software optimizations in-house for over 5 years and write every mapping individually – we do not use purchased pre-made files.
The basis for this is created on our own high-performance simulation test bench. Each setup variant – from the stock configuration to the combination of various sport exhaust systems, sport air filters, and configurations with and without a catalytic converter – is installed and specifically tuned during development. Our maps are therefore based on real measured values and not on empirical data or copied files.
We process well over 1,000 ECUs annually. Development and programming take place entirely in Germany. If you have questions about your setup, you can contact us directly – we will advise you before your order on which configuration fits your motorcycle and intended use.

Frequently asked questions about BMW S1000RR K67 optimization
How much power does the tuning of the BMW S1000RR K67 provide?
Depending on the hardware installed, we achieve approx. +8 hp and +7 Nm more torque. Just as noticeable is the smoother power delivery and the eliminated constant throttle jerking.
Can the exhaust flap be kept permanently open?
Yes. We program the flap control gear-dependently: as soon as a gear is engaged, the exhaust flap of your S1000RR K67 remains permanently open.
What does the Linear Throttle do?
It sets the throttle grip curve to 1:1 with the throttle valve position. 50% throttle grip means exactly 50% throttle valve position, making the response more direct and easier to modulate.
Why is the fan temperature lowered?
We lower the switch-on and switch-off temperatures of the fans by approx. 4 °C each. Active cooling starts earlier and runs longer, which provides thermal relief to the engine during spirited riding and high ambient temperatures.
Do I need a sport exhaust or sport air filter for the optimization?
Yes, for the stated power increase – on the S1000RR K67, an aftermarket rear silencer and a sport air filter are necessary. The other optimization functions are available to you even with stock hardware.
Does the optimization work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The power increase and optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. However, with a catalytic converter, only an overrun burble is possible for the fuel cut-off, not pops and bangs.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. We take into account the installed rear silencer, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications during tuning. Please provide these details in the comment field of your order.
Can I still use a BMW Motorrad tester?
