BMW S1000RR K67 from 2025 - FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash
BMW S1000RR K67 EURO 5+ Tuning from 2025 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original BMW S1000RR K67 control unit from model year 2025 onwards. Fuel injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle valve mapping are all adjusted, resulting in approximately 8 hp more power, 7 Nm more torque, and a noticeably more homogeneous power delivery, without the need for additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and BMW Motorrad diagnostic testers can continue to be used without restriction.
We tune each software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Upon request, this can be combined with a gear-dependent permanently open exhaust flap, Linear Throttle, lower fan temperature, and an individually configured overrun fuel cut-off for "pops & bangs".

Performance increase for the BMW S1000RR K67
We write the tuning software individually for your BMW S1000RR K67 and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Depending on the setup, we can achieve an increase in power of approx. +8 hp and around +7 Nm of torque.
Beyond pure power gains, we primarily improve the power delivery. The S1000RR accelerates more homogeneously and consistently and responds more directly to throttle inputs overall.
The typical constant throttle jerking of the S1000RR is also significantly reduced or eliminated by the optimized maps.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the BMW S1000RR K67
As part of the BMW S1000RR ECU tuning, we also adjust the injection maps. This brings the Air-Fuel-Ratio (AFR) values of your S1000RR K67 into a range optimized for your specific setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. The adjusted fuel mixture creates lower exhaust temperatures, which provides thermal relief for components such as the exhaust valves and cylinder heads.
Exhaust flap control for the BMW S1000RR K67
Want to hear more from your BMW S1000RR K67? Upon request, we can keep the exhaust flap permanently open.
We program the flap control based on the gear: as soon as a gear is engaged on your S1000RR, the exhaust flap remains permanently open. This way, you don't just feel the extra power; you hear it, too.
Linear Throttle for the BMW S1000RR K67
Do you want a more direct and better controllable throttle response? Upon request, we can program a linear throttle curve. For example, 50% throttle grip position corresponds exactly to 50% throttle valve position.
This gives you a significantly more direct and predictable response from your BMW S1000RR K67.
Optimize fan temperature for the BMW S1000RR K67
Upon request, we can lower both the switch-on and switch-off temperatures of the fans by approx. 4 °C each.
This means active cooling starts earlier and runs longer. Your S1000RR will remain more reliably within the optimal temperature range even during very sporty riding, high ambient temperatures, or in city traffic.
Pops & Bangs and overrun crackle for the BMW S1000RR K67
We adjust the overrun fuel cut-off of your BMW S1000RR K67 according to your individual wishes and the installed setup – from a subtle rumble to a clearly audible popping sound.
Important: With a setup including a catalytic converter, only a subtle rumble is possible. Please state when ordering whether a cat is installed on your S1000RR so we can adjust the configuration accordingly.
Individual tuning for your setup
Every software optimization for the BMW S1000RR K67 is tailored to the hardware installed on your motorcycle. Please provide the following information in the comments field when ordering:
- installed rear silencer or exhaust system, e.g., Akrapovic, SC-Project, or Austin Racing
- installed air filter, e.g., K&N, BMC, or DNA

- other relevant modifications
This allows us to optimally tune the mapping of your BMW S1000RR K67 for your motorcycle.
Suitable Performance Parts for your BMW S1000RR K67
Exhaust systems and air filters in particular influence optimal map tuning. You can find suitable parts in our following categories:
- Exhaust systems from Akrapovic, LeoVince, and MIVV
- Sport air filters from K&N and MWR; BMC or DNA are also suitable
Systems from SC-Project or Austin Racing are also suitable. We are happy to clarify which combination is best for your setup before you order.
What hardware is required for maximum performance?
To achieve the stated performance increase on the S1000RR K67, the following are mandatory:
- an accessory rear silencer or sport exhaust, e.g., from Akrapovic, SC-Project, or Austin Racing
- a sport air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or DNA
Without these components, the stated performance gain cannot be fully realized. The other optimization functions—drivability, AFR values, exhaust flap, Linear Throttle, fan temperature, and overrun fuel cut-off—are available regardless of this.

The software number of your ECU remains unchanged, and BMW Motorrad diagnostic testers can continue to be used without restriction.
Why FLAWLESS Industries?
We have been developing our software optimizations in-house for over 5 years and write every mapping individually—we do not use purchased off-the-shelf files.
The basis for this is created on our own high-performance simulation test bench. Every setup variant—from the stock configuration to the combination of various sport exhaust systems, sport air filters, and configurations with or without catalytic converters—is individually installed and specifically tuned there during development. Our maps are therefore based on real measured values and not on experience or copied files.
We process well over 1000 control units annually. Development and programming take place entirely in Germany. If you have questions about your setup, you can reach us directly—we will advise you before you order on which configuration suits your motorcycle and intended use.

Frequently asked questions about BMW S1000RR K67 optimization
How much power does the tuning of the BMW S1000RR K67 bring?
Depending on the installed hardware, we achieve approx. +8 hp and +7 Nm more torque. Just as noticeable is the more consistent power delivery and the eliminated constant throttle jerking.
Can the exhaust flap be kept open permanently?
Yes. We program the flap control to be gear-dependent: as soon as a gear is engaged, the exhaust flap of your S1000RR K67 remains permanently open.
What does the Linear Throttle do?
It sets the throttle grip curve to 1:1 with the throttle valve position. 50% throttle grip therefore means exactly 50% throttle valve position, making the response more direct and easier to modulate.
Why is the fan temperature lowered?
We lower the switch-on and switch-off temperatures of the fans by approx. 4 °C each. Active cooling starts earlier and runs longer, which thermally relieves the engine during sporty riding and high ambient temperatures.
Do I need a sport exhaust or sport air filter for the optimization?
For the stated performance increase, yes—for the S1000RR K67, an accessory rear silencer and a sport air filter are necessary for this. The other functions of the optimization are also available with stock hardware.
Does the optimization also work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The performance increase and the optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. Regarding the overrun fuel cut-off, however, only a subtle rumble can be realized with a catalytic converter, not loud popping.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. In the tuning process, we take into account the installed rear silencer, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications. Please provide these details in the comment field of your order.
Can I still use a BMW Motorrad tester?
Yes. BMW Motorrad diagnostic testers continue to function without restriction because the software number of the ECU remains unchanged.
Does the control unit need to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not recognizable from the outside.
How long does the processing take?
After your ECU is received, processing generally takes place within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
Is the optimization suitable for all K67 models from 2025 onwards?
Yes. This software optimization is intended specifically for the BMW S1000RR K67 model years 2025 and later with EURO 5+.
Am I allowed to drive on public roads with the optimized software?
The software deviates from the stock status. Use is permitted exclusively on closed-off grounds or on the racetrack.
