Kove 800X Pro and GT Tuning 2025 – What the Performance Flash does
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original ECU of the 2025 Kove 800X Pro and 800X GT models. We adjust injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle response curves – this results in approximately 6 to 8 hp more power, 6 to 7 Nm more torque, and a noticeably more homogeneous power delivery, without the need for additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside; the ECU software number does not change, and diagnostic tools can still be used without restrictions.
We tailor every software map individually to your specific motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Optionally, it can be combined with Linear Throttle and an individually configured fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

Performance increase for the Kove 800X Pro and GT
We write the tuning software individually for your Kove 800X Pro or 800X GT and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your bike.
Depending on the setup, we achieve an increase in performance of approx. +6 to +8 hp as well as around +6 to +7 Nm of torque.
Beyond pure performance gains, we primarily improve power delivery. The 800X accelerates more homogeneously and smoothly, and reacts more directly to throttle inputs overall.
The typical constant throttle jerking of the 800X is also significantly reduced or eliminated by the optimized maps. Similarly, the harsh load changes when opening and closing the throttle disappear.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the Kove 800X
As part of the Kove 800X ECU tuning, we also adjust the injection maps. This ensures that the Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) values of your 800X are in an optimized range for your specific setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. The adjusted fuel mixture results in lower exhaust temperatures, which can specifically provide thermal relief for exhaust valves and cylinder heads.
Linear Throttle for the Kove 800X
Would you like a more direct and controllable throttle response? Upon request, we can program a linear throttle curve. For example, 50% throttle twist will correspond exactly to 50% throttle body opening.
This provides a much more direct and predictable response from your Kove 800X.
Deactivation of catalytic converter monitoring
With our Performance Flash, we deactivate the catalytic converter monitoring.
This allows you to install exhaust systems without a catalytic converter without triggering an error message.
Pops & Bangs and overrun burbles on the Kove 800X
We individually adjust the fuel cut-off of your Kove 800X according to your wishes and the installed setup – from subtle overrun burbles to clearly audible pops and bangs.
Important: With a setup featuring a catalytic converter, only overrun burbles are possible. Please specify when ordering whether a cat is installed on your 800X, and we will adjust the configuration accordingly.

Every software optimization for the Kove 800X is tailored to the hardware installed on your motorcycle. Please provide the following information in the comments field when ordering:

Suitable performance parts for your Kove 800X
Exhaust systems and air filters in particular have an impact on the optimal map tuning. You can find suitable parts in our shop in the following categories:

- Sport air filters from K&N and MWR; BMC or Rade Garage are also suitable

What hardware is required for maximum performance?
To achieve the stated performance increase on the 800X, the following are strictly required:
- An aftermarket muffler or sport exhaust, e.g., from SC-Project, Akrapovic, Austin Racing, or Remus
- A sport air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or Rade Garage
Without these components, the specified performance gain cannot be fully realized. The other functions of the optimization – drivability, AFR values, Linear Throttle, catalytic converter monitoring, and fuel cut-off – are available to you regardless.

- Send in ECU – Remove the ECU from your Kove 800X and send it to us well-packaged and insured.
- Programming – Upon arrival, your ECU is typically processed by our technicians within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
- Install and ride – We send your ECU back to you. Connect, install, and you're ready to go.
No additional hardware necessary
No additional control unit is installed on the motorcycle for this software optimization. We program your original ECU. The unit is neither opened nor damaged during the process and remains unchanged from the outside.
The software number of your ECU remains unchanged, and diagnostic tools can continue to be used without any restrictions.

Frequently asked questions about the Kove 800X Pro and GT optimization
How much power does the Kove 800X tuning add?
Depending on the installed hardware, we achieve approx. +6 to +8 hp and +6 to +7 Nm more torque. At least as noticeable is the smoother power delivery, the elimination of constant throttle jerking, and the smoother load changes.
What does the Linear Throttle do?
It sets the throttle grip curve to 1:1 with the throttle body position. 50% throttle twist thus means exactly 50% throttle body opening, which makes the response more direct and easier to modulate.
Why is the catalytic converter monitoring deactivated?
Because the stock electronics would otherwise display an error message as soon as you install an exhaust system without a catalytic converter. With monitoring deactivated, your cockpit remains error-free.
Do the harsh load changes disappear?
Yes. Due to the adjusted maps, the harsh load changes when opening and closing the throttle become significantly smoother.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. We take into account the installed muffler, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications during the tuning process. Please provide these details in the comments field of your order.
Does the optimization work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The performance increase and optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. Regarding the fuel cut-off, only overrun burbles are possible with a cat, not pops & bangs.
Do I need a sport exhaust or sport air filter for the optimization?
For the stated performance increase, yes – an aftermarket muffler and a sport air filter are required for the 800X. The other functions of the optimization are available to you even with stock hardware.
Can I still use a diagnostic tool?
Yes. Diagnostic tools remain fully functional because the ECU's software number remains unchanged.
Does the ECU need to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not detectable from the outside.
How long does the processing take?
After your ECU arrives, processing usually takes place within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is typically 24 to 72 hours.
Is the optimization suitable for the 2025 800X Pro and GT?
