Kove 800X Pro and GT Tuning from 2026 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original ECU of the Kove 800X Pro and 800X GT from model year 2026. Fuel injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle response curves are adjusted, resulting in approximately 6 to 8 hp more power, 6 to 7 Nm more torque, and a noticeably more homogeneous power delivery, without any additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and diagnostic tools can continue to be used without restriction.
We tailor each software file individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Optionally available in combination with Linear Throttle and an individually configured overrun fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

Performance upgrade for the Kove 800X Pro and GT
We write the tuning software individually for your Kove 800X Pro or 800X GT and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Depending on the setup, this allows us to achieve an increase in power of approximately +6 to +8 hp as well as around +6 to +7 Nm of torque.
Beyond pure power gains, we primarily improve power delivery. The 800X accelerates more homogeneously and smoothly, and responds more directly to throttle inputs overall.
The typical constant throttle jerk of the 800X is also significantly reduced or eliminated by the optimized maps. Similarly, the harsh load changes when opening and closing the throttle disappear.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the Kove 800X
As part of the Kove 800X ECU tuning, we also adapt the injection maps. This ensures the Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) values of your 800X remain within an optimized range for your specific setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. Adjusted fuel mixture preparation results in lower exhaust gas temperatures, which can specifically relieve thermal pressure on exhaust valves and cylinder heads.
Linear Throttle for the Kove 800X
Do you want a more direct and easier-to-modulate response? Upon request, we can program a linear throttle curve. For example, 50% throttle grip position corresponds exactly to 50% throttle valve position.
This gives you a significantly more direct and predictable response from your Kove 800X.
Deactivation of catalytic converter monitoring
With our Performance Flash, we deactivate the monitoring of the catalytic converter.
This allows the installation of exhaust systems without a catalytic converter without triggering error messages.
Pops & Bangs and burble for the Kove 800X
We adjust the overrun fuel cut-off of your Kove 800X individually according to your wishes and the installed setup – from subtle burbles to clearly audible pops and bangs.
Important: With a setup featuring a catalytic converter, only a subtle burble is possible. Please state when ordering whether your 800X has a cat installed, so we can configure it accordingly.

Without these components, the specified power gain cannot be fully realized. The other features of the optimization – drivability, AFR values, Linear Throttle, catalytic converter monitoring, and overrun fuel cut-off – remain available regardless.

No additional hardware necessary
No additional control unit is installed on the motorcycle for this software optimization. We program your original ECU. The control unit is not opened or damaged in the process and remains unchanged from the outside.
The software number of your ECU remains unchanged, and diagnostic tools can continue to be used without restriction.

How much power does the Kove 800X tuning provide?
Depending on the hardware installed, we achieve approx. +6 to +8 hp and +6 to +7 Nm more torque. Just as noticeable is the smoother power delivery, the eliminated constant throttle jerk, and the softer load changes.
What does Linear Throttle do?
It aligns the throttle grip curve 1:1 with the throttle valve position. 50% throttle input therefore means exactly 50% throttle valve position, making the response more direct and easier to modulate.
Why is the catalytic converter monitoring deactivated?
Because the stock electronics would otherwise display an error message as soon as you install an exhaust system without a catalytic converter. With the monitoring deactivated, your cockpit remains error-free.
Do the harsh load changes disappear?
Yes. Due to the adjusted maps, the harsh load changes when opening and closing the throttle become significantly smoother.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. When tuning, we take into account the installed muffler, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications. Please specify these details in the comments field of your order.
Does the optimization work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The power increase and the optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. Regarding the overrun fuel cut-off, only a burble can be achieved with a catalytic converter, not loud pops and bangs.
Do I need a sports exhaust or sports air filter for the optimization?
For the specified performance increase, yes – on the 800X, an aftermarket muffler and a sports air filter are necessary for this. The other functions of the optimization are available to you even with stock hardware.
Can I continue to use a diagnostic tool?
Yes. Diagnostic tools continue to function without restriction because the ECU's software number remains unchanged.
Does the control unit need to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not detectable from the outside.
How long does the processing take?
After your ECU arrives, processing is usually completed within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
