The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original ECU of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R 3.0, model years 2021 to 2024. Injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle response curves are adjusted – resulting in approximately 6 to 9 hp more power, 5 to 8 Nm more torque, and the elimination of the torque dip, with no additional hardware required on the motorcycle.

Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU's software number does not change, and KTM diagnostic testers can continue to be used without restriction.

We adjust the quickshifter and its kill times. This makes it shift faster and significantly more precisely.

Is the Vmax limit removed?

Yes, upon request, we remove the top speed limit so that momentum does not stop prematurely.

Can the immobilizer be deactivated?

Yes. For use on the racetrack, we can deactivate the immobilizer so that your 1290 Super Adventure R can be started without an ignition key.

What does the Linear Throttle achieve?

It sets the throttle grip curve 1:1 to the throttle body position. 50% throttle grip means exactly 50% throttle body position, which makes the response more direct and easier to modulate.

Do I need a sports exhaust or sports air filter for the optimization?

For the stated power increase, yes – an aftermarket slip-on silencer and sports air filter are necessary for this on the 1290 Super Adventure R. The remaining optimization functions are available to you even with stock hardware.

Does the optimization also work with a catalytic converter?

Yes. The power increase and optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. However, with the fuel cut-off, only exhaust burble is possible when a catalytic converter is installed, not pops and bangs.

Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?

Can I continue to use a KTM tester?
