With the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, you can switch your Kawasaki Z900 70 kW (model year 2021 onwards) between the restricted 35 kW A2 power and the full 70 kW power using the original controls. No additional switch, no visible modifications – and for model years 2021 to 2024, you can even switch while riding.
How does the Power Mapswitch work?
The switching is handled entirely via the software of your original engine control unit (ECU). We map the two power levels to the existing ride modes or KTRC levels on the display. No additional hardware, no separate map switch, no visible modifications.
The software number and the sticker on the control unit remain unchanged. The control unit is neither opened nor damaged.

Kawasaki Z900 70 kW, from model year 2025
From 2025 onwards, the 70 kW version of the Z900 no longer features ride modes. Therefore, we use the KTRC levels to switch – when at a standstill at 0 km/h. Standard configuration:
- KTRC OFF: full power – 70 kW
- KTRC Level 1: full power – 70 kW
- KTRC Level 2: restricted power – 35 kW
- KTRC Level 3: restricted power – 35 kW

Do I need additional hardware or a map switch?
No. The Power Mapswitch is implemented exclusively via the software of your original control unit. There is no separate switch and no visible modifications.
Can I switch while riding?
For model years 2021 to 2024, yes – you switch via the ride modes without having to stop. For models from 2025 onwards, switching occurs via the KTRC levels and is only possible at a standstill at 0 km/h.
Do I have to remove the control unit myself?
Yes. You send the removed control unit, well-packaged, to FLAWLESS Industries, Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen. After we send it back, you reinstall it and are ready to ride.
How long does processing take?
We generally process the control unit on the day it arrives. It will be sent back to you within 24 hours.
Is the control unit opened or altered?
No. The control unit is neither opened nor damaged. The software number and sticker remain unchanged, and the Power Mapswitch is not visible from the outside.
Can I customize the assignment of power levels?
We supply the standard configuration mentioned above. For 2021–2024 models, you can additionally choose freely between Low (L) and High (F) in the RIDER mode. For other requirements, please get in touch via the contact form before ordering.
