Refund policy

If the customer is a consumer within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), they are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is
– for goods, fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the goods,
– for services, fourteen days from the date the contract was concluded.

B Consequences of Cancellation

In the event of a valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received, minus shipping costs, without delay and no later than fourteen days from receipt of the notice of withdrawal.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

B Special Note Regarding Services (Software Optimizations)

If you expressly request that we begin providing the service before the end of the withdrawal period and you withdraw from the contract before the service is provided, you must pay us a reasonable amount for the service provided up to that point (Section 357(8) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

The right of withdrawal expires completely if
– the service has been fully performed and
– you have expressly agreed before the start of performance that we may begin providing the service before the expiration of the withdrawal period, and
– you have confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract (Section 356(4) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

This applies in particular to services in general and specifically to software optimizations, software customizations, and ECU programming, as these are custom-made.

B Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

– for goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs,
– for goods that have already been installed or used,
– for services in the field of software optimization, provided that these have been fully performed and the legal requirements for the expiration of the right of withdrawal have been met.
