With many providers, the answer is: the full price all over again. Not with us. For subsequent changes to the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash, we have fixed flat rates – depending on what has changed for you.

Case 1: You want to change the configuration – €109.00
Nothing has changed on the motorcycle, but your wishes have evolved. This is the most common case, and it is also the most affordable.
Typical examples:
- The fuel cut-off should be more subtle or significantly stronger
- Linear throttle should be added – or removed again
- A different map should carry the Performance Flash, another the stock mapping
- Pops & Bangs should only be active in certain ride modes
- The quickshifter or shift acoustics should be configured differently

Case 2: You have changed the hardware – €139.00
This concerns changes to the motorcycle itself. The software is tuned to the exact setup that was installed during the initial flash – if something changes, the tuning is no longer optimal.
Typical examples:
- You have installed a different exhaust system or a different slip-on muffler
- You have switched to a sports air filter
- The catalytic converter is gone – or back in
- Different headers, different intake, other relevant modifications
This involves more effort than a pure configuration change because we re-tune the maps to the changed hardware. That is why this flat rate is slightly higher.
Why this is important: A different exhaust system changes the exhaust backpressure and therefore the air intake. If you continue to drive with a map that was tuned for the old system, you are not only sacrificing performance – the air-fuel ratio values can also slip into a range that is thermally unfavorable.

Case 3: You want to upgrade to the latest version – €219.00
We are constantly developing our software. Functions that did not even exist at the time of your order are now available for many models.
With the upgrade, you get the latest version of our software for your model – including the features that have been added since then. What exactly is possible for your motorcycle depends on the model and the ECU. We will clarify this with you in advance.

Why we don't charge the full price again
The actual development work for your model has already been done. Your data is with us, the setup is documented, and the tuning on our high-performance simulation test bench is complete.
What is required for a subsequent change is targeted adjustment – not complete re-development. This is exactly what our flat rates represent. Charging for a complete Performance Flash all over again just because you installed a different slip-on muffler would simply not be honest.

For combinations – such as a new exhaust system and a feature upgrade at the same time – just talk to us. We will tell you which flat rate applies in your case instead of charging you for two separate items.
How a subsequent change works
Important in advance: These three services may only be ordered after being prompted by our support team. We cannot process orders placed without prior consultation. Therefore, the first step is always to contact us.
- Get in touch with us – Briefly describe what has changed or what you would like to have done differently. Mention your model and your current setup.
- We categorize it – We will tell you which flat rate applies and what is possible for your model.
- Order – Only then do you order the appropriate service in the shop.
- Send in your ECU – Remove your ECU and send it to us well-packaged and insured.
- Programming – Upon receipt, our technicians will generally process your ECU within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, this usually takes 24 to 72 hours.
- Install and ride – We will send your ECU back to you. Connect it, install it, done.
As with the initial flash, the following applies: the ECU is not opened or damaged, the software number remains unchanged, and diagnostic testers continue to function without restriction.

The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash modifies the engine control software compared to the stock version. Use is only permitted on closed premises or racetracks.

Do I have to buy the Performance Flash again completely if I install a new exhaust system?
No. For modified hardware, our flat rate of €139.00 applies. We do not charge the full price again because the development work for your model has already been done.
What does it cost to have the fuel cut-off adjusted subsequently?
€109.00. This falls under the pure configuration change because nothing has changed on your hardware.
What is the difference between an update, a hardware update, and an upgrade?
The update (€109.00) changes the configuration with unchanged hardware. The hardware update (€139.00) tunes the maps to changed hardware such as the exhaust system, air filter, or catalytic converter. The upgrade (€219.00) brings your flash up to the latest software version including new features.
Do I also get features with the upgrade that weren't available when I ordered?
Yes, that is exactly what the upgrade is for. Which functions are available for your model depends on the motorcycle and the ECU – we will clarify this with you before you order.
Can I simply order the change in the shop?
No. These services may only be ordered after being prompted by our support team. Get in touch with us first, and then we will tell you which flat rate fits.
Do I have to send my ECU in again?
Yes. As with the initial flash, we program directly into your original ECU; for this, we need the ECU here with us.
How long does a subsequent change take?
Usually within 24 hours after your ECU is received. For shipments from Switzerland, usually 24 to 72 hours.
Does this also apply if I bought the flash several years ago?
Yes. Your data is with us. Especially with older orders, upgrading to the latest version is often worthwhile because several features have been added since then.
