BMW Remote Engine Start – Retrofit for BMW G-Series

Remote Engine Start / Remote Start directly via the original vehicle key – press the lock button three times or use the BMW App, and your BMW will start. We activate the factory-installed BMW option 1CR Remote Engine Start and code the relevant control units to OEM level - ideal for pre-conditioning in summer or for getting into your warm vehicle in winter.

Your Advantages

• Start via Original Key – 3 short presses on the lock button, and the engine starts.
• Vehicle Remains Locked – the engine runs, the doors remain closed. Driving away without the key inside the vehicle is not possible.
• Pre-conditioning – automatic climate control, rear window and mirror heating, and (depending on equipment) seat heating operate during remote start. Get into an ice-free car in winter, or a pre-cooled one in summer.
• OEM Integration – the function appears in the iDrive menu and instrument cluster as if factory-installed and is configurable there.
• Automatic Shutdown – the engine stops automatically after the vehicle's prescribed running time, as well as if the hood is open, battery charge is low, or relevant error entries are present.
• No Modification Required – pure software activation. Nothing is installed, glued, or tapped.
• Without DME Unlock – the engine control unit remains untouched.
  

Vehicle Requirements

For activation to be possible, your BMW must meet all the following points:

• Petrol Engine – Diesel vehicles are not supported by this function.
• Automatic Transmission – Manual transmission vehicles are excluded.
• BDC3 Body Domain Controller – installed in most G-models from approx. model year 2018.
• iDrive 7, 8 or 8.5 (or newer) with a corresponding head unit.
• Comfort Access / Remote Control with original BMW key.

Flash@Home – Your Tuning from Home:

All you need is a Windows laptop with a stable internet connection, an E-Net diagnostic cable, and a battery charger. After scheduling an appointment, a FLAWLESS technician will connect to your laptop via remote access and handle the entire flashing process – securely, straightforwardly, and usually completed within 30 minutes.

During the process, your laptop must be connected to the vehicle. The vehicle battery must be continuously supplied with at least 12.5V. We will gladly send you a suitable E-Net cable if you don't have one.

Safety & Legal Notices

• Remote engine start may only be used when the vehicle is in a safe, clear, and sufficiently ventilated location .
• Do not use in enclosed spaces, garages, or underground car parks – danger to life from exhaust fumes.
• In Germany, § 30 Abs. 1 StVO (Road Traffic Act) must be observed: unnecessary idling of engines is prohibited. Use is at your own responsibility.
• After software updates by BMW or a control unit replacement, re-coding may be necessary.
• The scope of functions may vary slightly depending on the vehicle, equipment, and software version.
