Honda CBR 1000 RR EURO 3 Tuning 2008 to 2011 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original Honda CBR 1000 RR engine control unit for the 2008 to 2011 model years. We adjust injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle valve mapping, resulting in around 5 hp more power, 7 Nm more torque, and the elimination of the torque dip, without any additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and Honda diagnostic testers can still be used without any restrictions.
We tailor each software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Upon request, it can be combined with the removal of the gear limiter, our quickshifter retrofit, a lowered fan temperature, the removal of the Vmax limiter, the deactivation of the immobilizer, and an individually configured overrun fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

Performance increase for the Honda CBR 1000 RR
We write the tuning software individually for your Honda CBR 1000 RR and adjust the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Depending on the setup, this allows us to achieve a power increase of approx. +5 hp and around +7 Nm of torque.
The well-known torque dip of the Honda CBR 1000 RR at approx. 4,500 rpm is significantly reduced or eliminated by our ECU optimization.
Beyond the pure power increase, we primarily improve the power delivery. The CBR 1000 RR accelerates more homogeneously and evenly and responds much more directly to throttle inputs overall.

Optimized injection and AFR values for the Honda CBR 1000 RR
As part of the Honda CBR 1000 RR ECU tuning, we also adjust the injection maps. This brings the air-fuel ratio (AFR) values of your CBR 1000 RR into a range optimized for the respective setup.
In addition to improved drivability, this can also reduce thermal stress. The adjusted mixture preparation results in lower exhaust temperatures, which thermally relieves the exhaust valves and cylinder heads in particular.
Remove the gear limiter of the Honda CBR 1000 RR
As standard, the power of your CBR 1000 RR is electronically limited in gears 1 to 4 as well as in 6th gear.
Upon request, we remove this restriction. This gives you full power and noticeably more pulling power in the affected gears.
Quickshifter retrofit for the Honda CBR 1000 RR
Upon request, we program a quickshifter directly into the original ECU of your Honda CBR 1000 RR – for clutchless upshifting, without any additional control unit on the motorcycle.
You select the option when ordering, connect a compatible sensor, and you're ready to go. You can order the matching sensor directly from us; any other sensor with a normally open contact will also work.
Optimize fan temperature for the Honda CBR 1000 RR
Upon request, we lower both the switch-on and switch-off temperatures of the fans by approx. 4 °C each.
As a result, active cooling starts earlier and runs longer. Your CBR 1000 RR will remain more reliably in the optimal temperature window, even with very sporty riding, high ambient temperatures, or in city traffic.
Remove the Vmax limiter of the Honda CBR 1000 RR
The top speed of your CBR 1000 RR is electronically limited as standard.

To achieve the stated performance increase on the CBR 1000 RR, the following are mandatory:
- an aftermarket rear silencer or sports exhaust, e.g., from Yoshimura, Shark, Akrapovic, or Boss
- a sports air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or Rade Garage
Without these components, the stated performance gain cannot be fully realized. The other optimization functions – drivability, AFR values, gear limiter, quickshifter, fan temperature, Vmax limiter, immobilizer, and overrun fuel cut-off – are available to you regardless.

Yes. Upon request, we remove the top-speed limit of your CBR 1000 RR so that acceleration does not cut off prematurely.
Can the immobilizer be deactivated?
Yes. For racetrack use, we can deactivate the immobilizer upon request so that the motorcycle can be started without an ignition key.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. We take into account the installed rear silencer, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications during tuning. Please provide this information in the comments field of your order.
Does the optimization also work with a catalytic converter?
Yes. The power increase and optimized injection maps are also possible with a catalytic converter. However, for the overrun fuel cut-off, only overrun rumble can be implemented with a catalytic converter, not backfiring.
Do I need a sports exhaust or sports air filter for the optimization?
For the stated power increase, yes – on the CBR 1000 RR, an aftermarket rear silencer and a sports air filter are required for this. The other optimization functions are also available to you with stock hardware.
Can I continue to use a Honda diagnostic tester?
Yes. Honda diagnostic testers continue to work without any restrictions because the ECU software number remains unchanged.
Does the control unit have to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not visible from the outside.
How long does processing take?
