As of now, we can offer the so-called Full Mapswitch in our 2024 version! We at FLAWLESS Industries continuously develop our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flashes to offer you the best possible solution for your KTM 690 SMC-R. With our Full Mapswitch, you can now not only adjust the Linear Throttle to a mapping or riding mode, but the complete FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash - including all options such as lambda control, deceleration cut-off, and of course, the power increase.

• Power Increase: We individually write and adapt the tuning software or optimization for your KTM 690 SMC-R to your installed hardware. This achieves an additional output of approx. 5 to 8 HP and 10 to 12 NM of torque. In addition to the increased power, our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash improves rideability: The power delivery of your 690 SMC-R becomes significantly more homogeneous and smoother. The annoying constant-speed surging of your KTM also completely disappears after the ECU optimization, giving you a significant increase in rideability. Furthermore, our power increase eliminates the well-known torque dip of your KTM at approx. 4500 rpm. The injection maps are also adjusted by us, so that the air-fuel ratio values of your 690 SMC-R are now in the optimal range. This also achieves thermal relief of the exhaust valves and cylinder heads due to the resulting lower exhaust gas temperatures.

Our goal was to develop a product that offers you maximum power increase and improved rideability with minimal effort – and that's exactly what we achieved:
– More Power and Torque: In combination with our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash, the Performance Kit increases the peak power of your KTM 690 SMC-R by an impressive 9 to 10 HP. In the mid-range, you also benefit from an increase in torque of 17 to 18 NM.

• FLAWLESS Gear Switch: With our FLAWLESS Gear Switch, your 690 SMC-R gets an additional riding mode – the Safemap. This offers you a third mode that is automatically activated during normal startup. In this mode, your 690 SMC-R runs with the original mapping (A2 or A), regardless of which map you have selected via the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch. However, as soon as you start the ignition with the second gear engaged, the engine control light in your speedometer will flash. This indicates that the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is now active in your individual configuration. After starting, the engine control light goes out, and you can use the full power of the ECU Performance Flash and now have both riding modes of your 690 SMC-R's map switch available. • FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch: Full attack at the touch of a button? With this option, you can switch between 2 mappings on the handlebar of your KTM 690 SMC-R, so you have the stock mapping on Map 1 and the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with all desired functions on Map 2!

• FLAWLESS Quickshifter: Discover our newly developed FLAWLESS Quickshift algorithm, which gives your 690 SMC-R incomparable shift speed and sportiness! We have not only refined the interruption times but optimized the entire quickshifter algorithm to offer you the ultimate quickshifter experience. For an even more intense riding experience, we optionally offer shift acoustics in Map 2, which gives every gear change an impressive soundscape - perfect for all who seek maximum sportiness! Important - with a catalyst configuration, shift acoustics are not possible.

• Hardcut Limiter: With the Hardcut Limiter, the standard rev limiter of your SMC-R becomes a true racing limiter, providing a unique riding experience. The Hardcut Limiter guarantees flames from the exhaust!

Important: The Hardcut Limiter may only be used in conjunction with an exhaust system without a catalytic converter and without a DB killer. Please note that excessive use may result in increased engine wear.

• Optimized Fan Temperature: Your engine stays cooler! We lower the fan activation temperature from 100°C to 95°C – for earlier cooling, more thermal stability, and less thermal stress for your engine.

• Linear-Throttle: Is the previous throttle response not good enough for you? Upon request, we program your throttle grip curve 1 to 1 with the throttle valve curve - 50% throttle grip means 50% throttle valve position. For the ultimate responsiveness of your KTM 690 SMC-R!

• Pops and Bangs: Give your KTM 690 SMC-R the final acoustic touch. Through our optimization, we can configure the deceleration cut-off individually according to your wishes and the installed setup of your KTM 690 SMC-R, and if desired, also apply it to the respective riding modes. Important - with a catalyst setup, only a light popping is possible.

The optimization or mapping can be adjusted directly according to your wishes during the order. The selection fields are available for this.

Procedure:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU software optimization for your KTM 690 SMC-R with the desired options.
2. Send your control unit or ECU well-packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries - Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany)
3. We process the software of your control unit on the day of arrival and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect and ride off.

Important
To offer you this service, it is necessary that you send us your removed control unit from your vehicle. As soon as we have received it, we will individually adapt your FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash. We usually send your control unit back with the modified software within 24 hours so that you can reinstall it as quickly as possible.
To achieve the specified performance, it is necessary to use an accessory rear silencer (LeoVince, Remus, Austin Racing, Arrow, Akrapovic, etc.), a sport air filter (K&N sport air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, etc.) as well as the Powerparts air filter cover or perforated cover. The upgrade air filter we offer is a K&N sport air filter. The control unit is not damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside. KTM testers function without restrictions. The software number remains unchanged.
