The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original KTM 890 Duke control unit for model years 2023 to 2024. Injection, ignition, lambda control, and throttle response curves are adjusted – resulting in approximately +3 to +5 hp more power, +4 to +6 Nm more torque, an eliminated torque dip, and significantly smoother power delivery, without the need for additional hardware on the motorcycle.

Unlike piggyback modules or auxiliary control units, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and KTM diagnostic tools can continue to be used without restriction.

We tailor each software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. It can be combined with the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, our optimized FLAWLESS Quickshifter, Linear Throttle, a lowered fan temperature, and an individually configured fuel cut-off for pops & bangs.

Performance increase for the KTM 890 Duke

We write the tuning software individually for your KTM 890 Duke and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.

Higher rev limiter for A2 restricted models

If you ride your 890 Duke in the A2 restricted version, the rev limiter is lowered from the factory. As part of our optimization, we raise it to 10,000 rpm – the same value as the original full-power A version.

This gives you access to the entire rpm range, allowing the 890 Duke to rev out freely again.

Optimized injection and AFR values for the KTM 890 Duke

As part of the KTM 890 Duke ECU tuning, we also adjust the injection maps. This ensures the Air-Fuel-Ratio (AFR) values of your 890 Duke are in the optimal range for your specific setup.

In addition to improved rideability, this also provides thermal relief for the exhaust valves and cylinder heads, as exhaust temperatures drop due to the adjusted mixture preparation.

FLAWLESS Quickshifter for the KTM 890 Duke

We have developed our quickshift algorithm from scratch. It gives your 890 Duke noticeably faster shift speeds and a sportier feel.

To achieve this, we not only refined the interruption times but also overhauled the entire quickshifter algorithm. The result is faster and cleaner gear changes across the entire rpm range.

Linear Throttle for the KTM 890 Duke

Is the current throttle response not good enough for you? Upon request, we can program your throttle curve 1:1 to the throttle body curve. In this setup, 50% throttle grip position equals exactly 50% throttle body opening.

This provides a significantly more direct and controllable throttle response for your KTM 890 Duke.

Lowered fan temperature for the KTM 890 Duke

• A sports air filter, e.g., from K&N, BMC, or Rade Garage

Without these components, the specified performance increase cannot be fully realized. The other functions of the optimization – rideability, AFR values, Power Mapswitch, Quickshifter, Linear Throttle, fan temperature, and fuel cut-off – are available to you regardless.

It maps the throttle grip curve 1:1 to the throttle body position. 50% throttle grip means exactly 50% throttle opening, making the response more direct and easier to modulate.

Why is the fan temperature lowered?

We lower the activation and deactivation points of the fans by approx. 4 °C. This helps your 890 Duke stay reliably in its optimal temperature range, even during aggressive riding.

Do I need a sports exhaust or sports air filter for the optimization?

For the stated power increase, yes – an aftermarket silencer and a sports air filter are required for the 890 Duke. The other optimization functions are available to you even with stock hardware.

Does the optimization work with a catalytic converter?

Yes. The performance increase and optimized injection maps are possible with a catalytic converter. However, regarding the fuel cut-off, only overrun rumble is possible with a catalytic converter, not pops and bangs.

Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?

Yes. We take the installed silencer, air filter, catalytic converter, and other relevant modifications into account during tuning. Please provide these details in the comment field of your order.

Can I still use a KTM diagnostic tool?

Yes. KTM diagnostic tools continue to function without restriction because the ECU software number remains unchanged.

Does the control unit need to be opened for programming?

No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is not recognizable from the outside.

How long does the processing take?

After receipt of your ECU, processing is usually completed within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
