KTM EXC-F 350 Tuning 2012 to 2016 – what the Performance Flash achieves
The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash replaces the stock software in the original KTM EXC-F 350 ECU for model years 2012 to 2016. Injection, ignition, and lambda control are adjusted – resulting in approximately 1 to 2 hp more power and 3 to 4 Nm more torque, without any additional hardware on the motorcycle.
Unlike piggyback modules or external tuning boxes, we intervene directly in the stock software. The optimization remains invisible from the outside, the ECU software number does not change, and KTM diagnostic tools can still be used without restrictions.
We tune every piece of software individually to your motorcycle and the hardware actually installed. Optionally combinable with the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, the FLAWLESS Gearswitch, the FLAWLESS Startup Map, the FLAWLESS Hardcut Limiter, and an individually configured overrun fuel cut for pops & bangs.

Performance increase for the KTM EXC-F 350
We write the tuning software individually for your KTM EXC-F 350 and adapt the maps to the hardware installed on your motorcycle.
Depending on the setup, this achieves an increase in power of approximately +1 to +2 hp as well as around +3 to +4 Nm of torque.
Beyond the pure power increase, we primarily improve rideability: the power delivery of your EXC-F 350 becomes significantly more homogeneous and smoother.
KTM does not provide official power figures for the EXC-F 350. Our values therefore refer to the difference from the stock state, measured on our dynamometer.
Optimized injection and AFR values for the KTM EXC-F 350
As part of the KTM EXC-F 350 ECU tuning, we individually adapt the injection maps to your installed setup and optimize the air-fuel ratio.
This allows exhaust gas temperatures to be reduced and provides thermal relief for the engine, exhaust valves, and cylinder head.
Retrofitting a CAN-Bus map switch for the KTM EXC-F 350
Bring current-generation technology to your bike: we retrofit the original CAN-Bus map switch from the new EXC models (2024 onwards) to EXC models from 2012 to 2016. This allows you to switch between three individually configurable maps directly from the handlebars while riding, adapting the performance characteristics to the track, terrain, and riding style at any time.
The functions at a glance:

FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch for the KTM EXC-F 350
With the FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, you can switch between 3 maps while riding.
For example, Map 1 can contain the stock mapping or a restricted configuration, Map 2 can feature the complete FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with all desired functions, and Map 3 can be the "party mode," where additional overrun popping is active.
You select exactly which functions are controllable via the map switch directly in the configurator.
FLAWLESS Startup Map for the KTM EXC-F 350
With the FLAWLESS Startup Map, you determine which map your motorcycle automatically starts in every time you turn it on.
For example, if you choose "Start in Map 1," your EXC-F 350 will always start in Map 1 – regardless of which map was active before turning it off. However, you can also select for your bike to always start in the last selected map.
FLAWLESS Quickshifter for the KTM EXC-F 350 - Coming soon
The software for the quickshifter is already fully programmed – as usual, including exhaust pops and clean, lightning-fast gear changes without the clutch.
Since the 2012 to 2016 EXC models do not have a gear position sensor (GP sensor) from the factory, an additional QS sensor is retrofitted for the quickshifter function. This connects plug-and-play to the existing wiring harness – no cutting, no soldering, no modifications.
We are currently in final talks with the sensor manufacturer. We ask for your patience – as soon as the sensor is available, we will inform you here and via our channels.
FLAWLESS Hardcut Limiter for the KTM EXC-F 350
With the FLAWLESS Hardcut Limiter, we activate an additional 2-step limiter. You can switch the hardcut limiter on and off at any time using the TC button on the retrofitted CAN-Bus map switch.
Depending on the setup, the hardcut limiter provides particularly aggressive acoustics and can produce visible flames from the exhaust.
The hardcut limiter has different names: 2-step limiter, flame limiter, party mode, and hardcut limiter are all terms for the same function.
Important: Excessive use of the hardcut limiter can cause damage to the engine.
Pops & Bangs and overrun crackle for the KTM EXC-F 350
We tune the overrun fuel cut of your KTM EXC-F 350 individually to your setup and your wishes – from subtle crackling to clearly audible pops and bangs.
In addition, we can assign the pops & bangs function to specific individual maps upon request. This allows you to ride with a subtle tune on one map and activate full acoustics on another.

Every software optimization for the KTM EXC-F 350 is tuned to the installed setup of your motorcycle. Please provide the following information in the comment field at checkout when placing your order:

What hardware is required for maximum performance?
To achieve the stated performance increase, an aftermarket end silencer is mandatory for the EXC-F 350, e.g., from Akrapovic or FMF. The other optimization features are available to you regardless of this.
How the software optimization of your KTM EXC-F 350 works
- Configure – Order your FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash and select the desired options.
- Send in the ECU – Remove the ECU from your KTM EXC-F 350 and send it to us well-packaged and insured.
- Programming – Upon receipt, your ECU will generally be processed by our technicians within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
- Install and ride – We will send your ECU back to you. Connect it, install it, and you're ready to go.
No additional hardware necessary
No additional control unit or external tuning box is installed on the motorcycle for the software optimization. Your original ECU is programmed by us. The control unit is not opened or damaged in the process and remains unchanged from the outside.
The software number of your ECU remains unchanged, and KTM diagnostic tools can continue to be used without restrictions.

What does the hardcut limiter do?
It activates an additional 2-step limiter, the map for which you define in the configurator. Depending on the setup, it ensures particularly aggressive acoustics and visible flame formation. Excessive use can cause damage to the engine.
What does the optimized injection do?
The air-fuel ratio values are kept in the optimal range. This lowers exhaust gas temperatures, which provides thermal relief for exhaust valves and cylinder heads.
Is the software tuned to my exhaust system?
Yes. When tuning, we take into account the installed end silencer, header, air filter, and other relevant modifications. Please provide these details in the comment field of your order.
Do I need an aftermarket end silencer for the optimization?
For the stated performance increase, yes – an aftermarket end silencer is necessary for this on the EXC-F 350. The other optimization functions are available to you even with stock hardware.
Can I continue to use a KTM tester?
Yes. KTM diagnostic tools continue to function without restriction, as the ECU's software number remains unchanged.
Does the control unit need to be opened for programming?
No. The ECU is not opened or damaged during programming. The optimization is also not recognizable from the outside.
How long does processing take?
After receipt of your ECU, processing generally occurs within 24 hours. For shipments from Switzerland, the processing time is usually 24 to 72 hours.
