With our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash, we individually optimize the engine control unit of your KTM EXC 450 – for more power, more torque, improved handling, and numerous additional functions.

• Power Increase: Depending on the setup, our FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash achieves approximately +2–3 hp and +4–5 Nm of torque. In conjunction with our optional FLAWLESS Performance Kit, even +4–5 hp peak power is possible.

In addition to the sheer increase in power, we optimize power delivery across the entire rev range and ensure smoother, more consistent, and more powerful handling.

We individually adapt the injection maps to your installed setup and optimize the air-fuel ratio. This reduces exhaust gas temperatures and thermally relieves the engine, exhaust valves, and cylinder head.

• FLAWLESS Performance Kit – Optional: The development of our FLAWLESS Performance Kit for your KTM EXC 450 focused on extracting maximum performance and rideability from your motorcycle with minimal effort.

• CAN-Bus Map Switch Retrofit: The new CAN-Bus Map Switch is required to use the 3rd map and other additional functions.

If you select the retrofit, we will directly supply the matching map switch including the necessary adapter.

The map switch does not need to be ordered separately.

• FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch: Full attack at the touch of a button?

With our FLAWLESS Power Mapswitch, you can switch between 2 maps or 3 maps with the appropriate configuration while riding.

For example, you can store the standard mapping or the restricted configuration on Map 1 and the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash with all desired functions on Map 2.

This allows you to switch between different mappings on-the-ride.

You can select exactly which functions can be controlled via the map switch directly in the configurator.

• FLAWLESS Gearswitch: With the FLAWLESS Gearswitch, you can specifically block additional maps and only unlock them via a defined starting procedure.

When starting the motorcycle normally, only Map 1 is active.

However, if you start your motorcycle in 2nd gear, the map selection is reactivated, and you can then switch between the available maps as usual.

You can activate the FLAWLESS Gearswitch directly in the configurator.

• FLAWLESS Startup Map: With the FLAWLESS Startup Map, you can define which map your motorcycle automatically starts in after each start.

If you select, for example, "Start in Map 1", your bike will always start in Map 1 – regardless of which map was active before switching off.

• FLAWLESS Quickshifter GP: With our exclusive FLAWLESS Quickshifter GP, we enable precise and fast upshifts without clutch operation.

Thanks to our specially developed custom code in the engine control unit, the quickshifter works significantly more precisely and already functions when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear.

Our FLAWLESS Quickshifter GP works with the existing gear position sensor and uses the reference values already learned in the control unit. This eliminates the need for manual reading or individual adjustment of these values.

Due to the closed-loop system of our code, the ignition is only released again once the gear change is completely finished.

The interruption time adaptively adjusts to the respective shifting process. This prevents the ignition from being reactivated too early, which can happen with systems with fixed interruption times.

We can retrofit the quickshifter on all models from 2017.

No additional sensor needs to be installed for this.

Optionally, we also offer the popular shift acoustics or shift pop.

In the configurator, you can select on which map the shift acoustics should be active – and on which not.

• FLAWLESS Hardcut Limiter: With the FLAWLESS Hardcut Limiter, we activate an additional 2-step limiter.

You can choose directly in the configurator when or on which map the Hardcut Limiter should be active.

Depending on the setup, the Hardcut Limiter provides a particularly aggressive acoustic and can generate visible flame formation at the exhaust.

• FLAWLESS Launch Control: With our FLAWLESS Launch Control, we bring the start function known from the SX-F and FC models to your KTM EXC 450.

Optionally, we also offer a Launch Control with acoustic function.

During the starting phase, the Hardcut Limiter is active and provides an aggressive hardcut acoustic as well as – depending on the setup – visible flame formation.

As soon as you release the clutch, you can continue the starting process as usual.

• Pops & Bangs: Give your KTM EXC 450 the final acoustic touch.

Through our software optimization, we can individually tune the overrun fuel cut-off to your setup and your preferences.

Additionally, we can assign the Pops & Bangs function specifically to individual maps.

For example, you can run a subtle tuning on one map and activate the full acoustics on another map.

Please specify your setup in the comment field at checkout when ordering. It is important to specify which rear silencer (Akrapovic, FMF, ...), which header, and which air filter (K&N sport air filter, BMC, Rade Garage, ...) you have installed.

Process:
1. Order the FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash or your ECU Software Optimization for your KTM EXC 450 with the desired options.
2. Send your control unit or ECU well-packaged to us (FLAWLESS Industries - Pilatusring 20, 91353 Hausen, Germany).
3. We will process the software of your control unit on the day of arrival and usually send it back to you within 24 hours.
4. Unpack, connect, and ride.

Important
To offer you this service, it is necessary that you send us your removed control unit from your vehicle. As soon as we receive it, we will individually adapt your FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash. We usually send your control unit with the modified software back to you within 24 hours so that you can reinstall it as quickly as possible.
To achieve the specified performance, it is necessary to use an accessory rear silencer (Akrapovic, FMF, etc.).
Excessive use of the Hardcut Limiter can lead to engine damage.
The control unit will not be damaged or opened. The FLAWLESS ECU Performance Flash is not visible from the outside. KTM testers function without restrictions. The software number remains unchanged.
